eun mi howie
Eun Mi Howie traces ghostly cartographies of memory, ecology, and migration through photographic intervention and charcoal alchemy. Based on walks across foreign landscapes, her work captures gusts of wind, birdsong, and spectral light, translating them into compelling disruptions of photographic form. Through repeated cycles of photocopying, drawing, and washing, Eun Mi erases certainty and redraws experience as porous, unstable, and intuitive. What remains are delicate gray zones, half-mark, half-murmur, where memory and imagination coalesce and belonging becomes tactile.
